01Who we are and what this policy covers

Ask Arthur is operated by Ronin Tech LLC, doing business as AskArthur (“Ask Arthur,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with our website and hospitality communication services.

When a restaurant, bar, hotel or other venue uses Arthur to assist its guests, the venue determines how it uses guest information for its business. We process that information to provide the services requested by the venue. The venue’s own privacy notice also applies. For questions about a particular reservation, order or stay, contact that venue directly.

02Information involved in the service

The information involved depends on how you interact with Arthur and which services a venue has enabled:

• Business inquiries: name, email, telephone number, business name, location and details you provide when requesting a demonstration, pricing or support.
• Guest conversations: telephone numbers, text messages, emails, conversation summaries and transcripts; call audio where recording is enabled and the required notice or consent has been provided.
• Hospitality requests: reservation dates, party size, room or venue preferences, order items and modifiers, event requirements, contact details and requests you choose to share.
• Service records: message delivery and opt-out records, integration activity, account information and technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.

Please share only the information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in a conversation or website inquiry.

03How information is used

We use information to answer inquiries, support bookings and orders, capture event and catering requests, route guest needs to staff and provide the services a business has selected. We also use relevant information to support accounts, investigate technical problems, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

Arthur’s AI features process conversation content to generate replies, summaries and proposed next steps. A venue may review unanswered questions and update its knowledge base to improve future responses. AI output can be inaccurate, so details affecting a booking, order or payment should be checked with the venue.

04When information is shared

Information may be shared with the venue handling your request, authorized members of its team, and providers that support the service, such as communication, hosting and AI-processing providers. When a business connects a reservation, POS or property-management system, relevant details are exchanged to carry out the requested task.

We may also disclose information where legally required. We do not sell personal information or provide mobile contact information or SMS consent records to third parties for their own marketing. A venue’s use of information and any external service you visit are also governed by their own privacy terms.

05Texts, emails and your choices

Messages may relate to a request you made, such as a booking, order or support conversation. Promotional communications require the permission applicable to the channel and your location. Making an inquiry does not by itself give unlimited permission for unrelated marketing.

You can reply STOP to opt out of an SMS program and HELP for assistance. Use an unsubscribe link where provided in a marketing email, or contact the sender to change your preferences. Opting out of one program may not update your preferences with a separate venue. Required service or legal notices may still be sent through an appropriate channel.

06Website forms and tools

When you submit a contact form, we send your contact information, business details, request type and communication preferences to our team through Google Workspace/Gmail. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide calculator access or arrange the report you requested. Form submissions do not automatically schedule meetings, place test calls, make reservations or process payments. Demonstration conversations on this website are examples.

This website uses a short-lived, essential session cookie to protect form submissions and remember calculator access. The cookie expires after one hour. Form submissions are handled by our Vercel-hosted service and delivered to our Google Workspace inbox. This website does not load advertising analytics. External services you visit have their own privacy practices.

07Retention, security and processing locations

Information is kept for the purposes for which it was collected, taking account of service requirements, customer instructions and legal obligations. A record may need to be retained to address a dispute, maintain required consent records or comply with law, even after another record has been deleted.

Our published policy describes security measures and processing in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. The arrangements that apply to a business’s service, including additional data-handling requirements, should be set out in its agreement with Ask Arthur.

08Your privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain uses. These rights may be subject to exceptions. You may also raise a concern with your local privacy regulator.

To make a request, contact the Ask Arthur team and identify the service, venue and information involved. Please do not send sensitive documents in the initial message. We may need to verify your identity or direct a venue-specific request to the business responsible for the information.

09Changes and contact

We will update the date on this page when this policy is revised and provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes where required. Contact us if you have a question about how this policy applies to your interaction with Arthur.
